A broker-generated value analysis is your absolute best bet when it comes to determining your property’s value. Often third-party sites rely on incomplete data. An expert broker, such as myself–someone who is familiar with the market, has recently sold properties in the area and has their thumb on current trends–will be able to best assess the property’s worth and advise you on how to strategically position your home to lock in a top dollar sale.

Market conditions will always dictate ideal timing but typically spring months (March - May) generate strong buyer interest and ignite momentum across the market that often carries through the summer.

Typically, a home will sell within 30-45 days once we launch the marketing campaign.

Real estate commissions are negotiable (point blank, period). However, in California, real estate commissions are typically 4%-6% of the purchase price depending on the terms of the sale.

Literally everything! According to the California State Law, sellers must disclose all material facts to buyers. Failure to fully disclose could result in legal action.

Real estate professionals carry many titles. Some of these terms are often used interchangeably but there are some distinct differences. Any person who holds a professional state issued real estate license is a ‘real estate agent’. In the state of California, licensees hold either a ‘salesperson’ or ‘broker’ license. A salesperson has completed the minimum coursework required to obtain a state issued license and “holds their license under” a licensed broker. A broker has completed additional coursework including ethics, business law, real estate finance and appraisal, just to name a few. In order to become a REALTOR®, a licensee needs to be a member of the National Association of REALTORS®.
